Winston Salem North Carolina Snake Situation: Hi David, This snake was lounging on the rocks very close to our dock, close to where kids play volleyball. We've heard of situations where kids chasing a ball have somehow surprised an unseen snake and have been bitten. Regardless whether this is a poisonous snake, but especially if it is, we would like to remove it. Apparently this snake is either a cottonmouth or a water snake. Would a snake trap be a way of removing it? If so, is it a one size fits all? I understand that cottonmouths might not fit in a regular trap. Would you mind giving us an opinion on the kind of snake and how to remove it? Thanks so much, Liz

We live in Roxboro N.C about 35 miles North of Durham .We keep finding theses snake skins in the basement .We recently had 2 pipes bust in the walls and am waiting on an insurance adjuster to look at the damage .In the mean time our walls and ceiling in the basement are exposed .The last skin we found was 6 ft long .It appears to be the same snake .Do you do snake removal in Person County ? Or do you know who we can contact that does ? I have sent an attachment of part of a skin we removed this morning .Can you identify the snake ? It is a finished basement and we use it often and my oldest daughters bedroom is down there .We all are very afraid of snakes . Kind Regards ,Becky
