Toledo Ohio Snake Situation: I saw on your website that you would identify shed snake skins for free. I hope this is still the case. I have included a close up of his head, the entire skin, and the hole the skin was climbing into where it apparently lives. I've known there was something living there since we moved in 2 months ago, but didn't know what until today. I'm happy to have him around, so long as he's not poisonous. I have 2 dogs that spend a lot of time in the yard. One of them is particularly small and particularly nosy. So long as they're safe, so is the snake. I'm also very interested to know what it is. Thank you for your time and help.

Thank you for getting back to me. I have a little one (2) who loves to play in the backyard, I just want to make sure that the snake won't hurt her if she comes across it. She's never outside alone but we do let her wander around, exploring different parts of our yard. I have no problem with the snake living with us, I just want to take the proper precautions.

1. We are west of Toledo OH. We have an office on the second floor of a metal bldg. The stairs are carpeted. Over the years I have found two hognose snakes downstairs, and my neighbors have caught cottonmouth and copperheads in the area. Do snakes climb carpeted stairs? 2. A neighbor killed this spotted snake...what is it? was it poisonous? 3. the other day I found this skin in a remote area of boxes....I figured it was about 4-5' long. The tail portion is very intact and measures about 1" on each side of a triangle. Can you tell what kind of snake it was? poisonous?

My brother passed away recently and we have been trying to get the ouse cleared out and cleaned up. we discovered a snake in the kitchen cupboard. decent size. Who can we call or how can we get rid of it?
