Macon Georgia Snake Situation: I was on your website and saw that I could send you a picture of a snake skin and you would try and identify it for me. I live in Macon GA and found this on a rafter in my garage. The garage is attached to my house with no direct entrance. I am just worried because I have a 5 year old grandson that spends a lot of time with my husband in the garage. Any information that you can give me, I would be thankful for. As you can see the skin is quite long. We live on 5 acres, just want to make sure it is not poisonous. Thanks again for your help and look forward to the information that you can give me. I found this snake skin in the bushes in front of our house in southwest virginia. I couldn't get a picture of the head because it was under the sidewalk and couldnt pull it out. So I just took a picture of the top, bottom and tail. The part of the snake skin we could get out of the bushes was about 3 to 3 1/2 feet long and at the widest part 2 inches wide. Just wondering if you could identify it without being able to see the skin off the head. Any info would be appreciated. Thank you so much.
