Bridgeport Connecticut Snake Situation: I have attached photographs of the baby snake skin and will also send a second e-mail with the small snake skin photos since the photos are large and my computer is old I have to send in separate batches. The baby snake skin is in very good condition and was found very close to my porch under a bush near the walkway. Thanks you so much for your help with identifying the skins. As I said, I try to live in harmony with nature and respect all creatures space but would like to avoid increasing the likely hood they could harm my dogs when they are living so close. Your website was great and we followed several of your suggestions regarding trimming under our bushes etc. Thanks you so much, the other e-mail will be less rambling with 4 more pictures of the other snake which was found approximately 4 feet away from the baby skin .

I am enclosing a pic of the snake I need to catch. I think it is living under my hot tub since this pic is only 3 feet from my hot tub. I also seen a baby snake a week earlier. The large snake I believe is a black rat snake. It looks to be 5 feet long. I live in Bridgeport CT. It may not be though. Do you think your trap will catch this size snake. If I catch the large snake will the smaller one or ones come out later to be caught. I am guessing there may be more than one baby. I have little sissy lhasa apso dogs. Gotta luv them though. Do you think this snake could kill my 18lb dogs. The wife is freaking. I seen it at dusk about a week ago and have not seen it since.

I think I may have a corn snake outside my house but Im not sure. Its the same coloring but what`s strange to me is it keeps coming back to the same location during the day. It seems to be sleeping during the day on the damp ground left by my AC condensation at night. When I look out after dark it is gone. I don't really like snakes but this one has decided that its new bed is located outside my front door. What I would like to ask is this normal for a snake to keep coming back to the same place. Its strange during the day it doesn't even move...like those black ones that take off when you approach them. Anyway any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks...J
