Raleigh Durham Snake Removal
North Carolina has an abundance of snakes, from venomous pit vipers like
copperheads or rattlers, to harmless snakes like rat snakes and garter
snakes. Many of these snakes live in urban or neighborhood settings in
the city of Raleigh Durham.
I have spent my career talking with hundreds of snake removal guys
throughout the USA, and I myself have personally trained close to 20 so
far. In the city of Raleigh Durham, I recommend Carolina Wildlife
Removal, who I know personally, and
who I trained. He can usually come out same-day, often very quickly, to
catch your unwanted snake(s).

I like this wildlife removal company, and I think they are your best bet
for snake control in Raleigh Durham. If he is not available, you can do a search
for a different Raleigh Durham snake removal company, but be sure you are
comfortable with their service and prices before you hire. Raleigh Durham snake
control is of course a specialty field, and not every expert in you hire
is the same - you don't want to hire a snake exterminator or pest
control company, but a specialty North Carolina wild animal removal professional.
Snake Tip: Getting rid of snakes around the house -
Snakes tend to be scarce in areas where there is little coverage and short grass. This is mainly because snakes, although carnivores, are also commonly preyed upon by birds and other large predators. Short grass or a wide, exposed area will not be tempting to a snake. It would put the animal at significant risk of predation. If you notice snakes in your yard after you’ve neglected to mow for a few weeks, this would be the reason why. Snakes like tall grass. It conceals them from others, allows them to hunt, and keeps them cool in the heat of the day. Tall grass also allows a snake to get closer to other areas around your property that may serve as den sites. Gardens are beautiful; however, they are the downfall of many homeowners with snake phobias. Gardens attract all sorts of creatures that snakes like to eat. If the vegetation is low enough, the snake will be able to hunt without discovery. Similar issues are seen with rock walls and cracked patios. If a snake can wiggle inside, the opening needs to be repaired or eliminated. Until you walk around the yard and remedy the issues that promote snake encroachment, you will continue to see more than the occasional serpent.
Raleigh Durham Reader Emails: Hi David, I left a voice message for you on Monday, so I thought an email might give you some more info on our dilemma and whether or not you might be able to help us. We live in Lake County on Lake Harris, in a house built in 1964. The 40 yr old 2 story boathouse is where the snake issue is. In the ceiling area of where the bass boat is docked, we have noticed the canvas type ceiling has been sagging and bulging in numerous areas. Last October, my husband shot a water moccasin in the loading area by the bass boat. We suspect there must be about a dozen snakes that are up there trying to avoid the cold weather we have been having, and or else making more snakes. We have a German Shepherd dog that loves her yard and we would like to resolve the snake issue before it warms up & they decide to move around more. I see on your site, you have a $200 snake prevention package, but am not sure if would be applicable to our problem. We are also aware of your $1.00 per mile charge for jobs outside Orlando. We live in Tavares, about 45 minutes from Orlando. I have called the more local site you have a link to on your site, but he hesitated a bit when I told him of our problem & then asked if we could send pics to him. I would prefer not going into the boat house to take their pics. His estimate to come out & evaluate doesn't cover any work being done. Please let me know if you think this is something you can or want to take care of for us. Thank you for your time. Linda
