Austin Snake Removal
Texas has an abundance of snakes, from venomous pit vipers like
copperheads or rattlers, to harmless snakes like rat snakes and garter
snakes. Many of these snakes live in urban or neighborhood settings in
the city of Austin.

for snake control in Austin. If he is not available, you can do a search
for a different Austin snake removal company, but be sure you are
comfortable with their service and prices before you hire. Austin snake
control is of course a specialty field, and not every expert in you hire
is the same - you don't want to hire a snake exterminator or pest
control company, but a specialty Texas wild animal removal professional.
Snake Tip: Snake repellent plants -
It would be nice if there were such a thing as plants that will repel snakes. Sadly, the only relatively useful odor repellents are mongoose urine and kingsnake musk—neither of which can be bought by the average homeowner. There are no effective plants that will keep snakes at bay through use of unpleasant odor or through texture. A favorite of the do-it-yourselfers is the theory that a harsh texture will prevent a snake from crawling over it. This has been widely disproven time and time again. Snakes crawl on the ground. They were designed to be able to navigate over rocks, sticks, logs, and other pointed objects. Do not put your faith in plant texture. The only way to repel snakes is to eliminate the sources of thick vegetation around your yard. This includes any ground cover and tall grass. Snakes love the coverage that is provided by dense undergrowth. It allows the animal access to other areas around the property like sheds, gardens, and rock walls. If you really want to repel snakes, forego the abundant gardens that enclose your home, or at least make them thinner and with plants that offer little cover.

I did a google search for Florida snake capture and your contact info came up several times so you are first person i am contacting. I am in need of some wild caught Burmese Pythons and it is my understanding that these are invasive snakes and lethal capture is highly recommend. I am contacting you in hope that this is a species you come in contact with often and perhaps you could send me some? I have all proper paperwork and permits covered and will cover all shipping costs. We need LIVE snakes for an infectious disease study. The animals will be humanely euthanized at the end of the study, but no cruel treatment will be given to the snakes.

There really aren't any reproducting populations of Burmese Pythons in the Orlando area. It's more of a south Florida, everglades phenomenon. So I don't have any snakes to send you. But if I did have access to such snakes, I certainly would box them up and mail them your way. I personally don't think large animals pose much of a threat to the environment - it's the small and fast-to-reproduce critters that we have to worry about. Anyway, good luck with your research.
Thanks for the response. Please keep my information incase something does come up. It is proving very difficult to get snakes. We are also looking for green anacondas which seem to like the everglades as well. If you know of anyone I could contact concerning these snakes please let me know. Have a Happy New Year!
